Hello and a warm welcome to my blog.

So far, it’s a work in progress so please bear with me. My name is Monika and I live in beautiful, albeit windy Orkney Islands. I am a primary school teacher whose passion is reading books. From time to time I write poetry and short stories, which I’m hoping to publish on this blog too.

My favourite genres are: crime/ mystery/ suspense, as well as thrillers, historical fiction and children’s/ YA novels. I am hoping to offer a variety of reviews, so everyone can find something here for them.
